Door County Scottie Rally Photo

Door County Scottie Rally

Saturday, May 15

Baileys Harbor is known as the happiest place on earth for Scottish Terriers particularly on the weekend prior to Memorial Day. Hundreds of Scottish Terrier devotees travel from across North America with their Scotties for the sole purpose of attending the Door County Scottie Rally.  This annual event is pivotal to the success of fundraising for Scottie Rescue and health research.  Although spectators can view the Parade of Scots led by a Bagpipe and Drum Corps around the Town Square, there is a full range of activities held at the Door County Scottie Rally headquarters on Juniper Ridge Rd. Numerous Scottish Terriers have been companions to US Presidents and captured the nation’s heart.  Its no wonder these small packages with huge attitude or what we lovingly call “scottitude” are proud to strut their stuff!   Check out our Facebook Page or for more information!

Better yet, bring your own floaties or buy one from the concession stand. Nothing beats floating around while catching some rays.
